Why is Pupil Premium important?

At The Grasby All Saints C of E Primary School, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to achieve their very best, whatever their background or circumstances.

Pupil Premium funding is additional funding provided by the Department for Education to support disadvantaged pupils. We use this funding carefully and thoughtfully to remove barriers to learning, improve progress and attainment, and ensure that every child can fully participate in school life.

Our approach is based on each child's individual needs and includes evidence-informed support such as high-quality teaching, targeted academic support, attendance and pastoral support, and opportunities that enrich children's experiences.

We work closely with pupils and families to make sure that Pupil Premium funding has a positive and measurable impact on children's learning, wellbeing, confidence and future opportunities.
