Grasby All Saints C. of E. Primary School is extremely fortunate to have the benefit of a thriving Parent Teacher Association, known as FROGS - Friends Of Grasby School.
The team of dedicated volunteers spend many hours raising substantial sums of money for our children. Fundraising events include a Valentine's Disco, sponsored sporting event, a Christmas and a summer fair.
The committee decides how to spend the funds raised, with the help of a 'wish list' from school. Examples include: contributing towards trips and theatre events, decorating the village hall for Christmas dinner, supporting the school have the planetarium, animal roadshows, discos, film nights and paying for Year 6 leavers' gifts. The stage in the playground, books, computers and educational equipment have also all been provided by FROGS.
All parents/carers of children at our school are automatically made members and all are cordially invited to attend any of the FROGS meetings. The meetings are sociable occasions and new faces are always welcome.
Committee members are elected annually.

Family Helpers Day
Recently our lovely FROGS organised a Family Helpers Day to whip our play areas in to a tip top condition. Turnout was great, fun was had and a lot was accomplished! Here are just some of the tasks that were completed :-
- tidied up in the Quiet Garden through the medium of pruning and weeding
- added some gravel activity tyres (inspired by our very own Mrs Turnbull!)
- popped some pumpkins down for a seasonal theme
- added a bug hotel and resources for the children to make their own
- cleaned the table tennis tables
- cleaned the screens on the outdoor stage area
- fixed some guttering on the back of the stage
- cleared the old vegetable patch
- pressure washed the steps, green areas on playground, the hut etc.
We're hoping to organise another one in the spring, so we hope to see you there!
