School Organisation
The children are taught in mixed aged class groups. All children receive a differentiated curriculum to ensure that their individual learning needs are met at the level they are working at.
There are currently 4 classes:
- Class 1 (Early Years Foundation Stage)
- Class 2 (Year 1 and Year 2)
- Class 3 (Year 3 and Year 4)
- Class 4 (Year 5 and Year 6)
British Science Week
We are completing a whole school experiment to find out which biscuit is the best for dunking. Results to follow soon...
World Book Day - Ready, Steady Read
Our first Ready, Steady Read in Class 1 & 2 on World book day was a huge success, with the parents, carers, siblings and grandparent of pupils in Class 1 & Class 2 reading with the children. This event will continue to run on alternate Thursdays until further notice.
Planting Bulbs
A huge thank you to all the families and friends of Grasby for helping us to plant the bulbs around the front of our school. We are very excited to watch them grow.
Lunar New Year
We celebrated the Lunar New Year with trying new foods, making lanterns and learning about Chinese dragons.
